Contact point for hosting service providers

We do not offer a general reporting portal for terrorist and illegal content. The contact point set up here is exclusively intended for hosting service providers.
If you have knowledge of terrorist content, you can report it to the reporting office for "Extremism and Terrorism" set up by the “Direktion für Staatsschutz und Nachrichtendienst“ (DSN) .
The Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications (RTR GmbH) has been set up as the contact point.
To answer questions or provide feedback in connection with removal orders issued, the following e-mail contact point has been set up for hosting service providers as well as affected content providers:
If hosting service providers have knowledge of terrorist content posing an imminent threat to life, they are obligated under Art. 14 (5) TCO Regulation to immediately inform the competent law enforcement authorities of the EU Member State in question. If the Member State in question cannot be identified, the hosting service provider shall inform Europol and the contact point responsible for it.
The hosting service provider must inform KommAustria immediately after the terrorist content has been removed or blocked using the form in Annex II of the TCO Regulation (pp. 28 and 29). The form is to be submitted to the contact point mentioned above.
If the hosting service provider is unable to comply with the removal order, it shall notify KommAustria immediately using the form in Annex III of the TCO-VO (pp. 30 and 31). The form must be submitted to the contact point mentioned above.
Other authorities involved
The DSN is responsible for reports of terrorist content.
The Austrian Communications Authority (KommAustria) is the competent authority under the TCO Regulation.
