What types of connection can be tested?

The RTR-NetTest is available for

• mobile phones for Android (see supported versions) and iOS (see supported versions),
• desktops (Windows, macOS and Linux) and
  
• modern desktop browsers.

This means you can test both fixed-network (DSL, cable, optical fibre) and mobile (2G/EDGE, 3G/UMTS/HSPA, 4G/LTE, 5G/NR) Internet access technologies. The smart phone test can be run both on a mobile network and on WLAN.
