Channels and technologies

Current use of mobile bands:

700 MHz band

  • LTE/NR:
    • Hutchison: 10 MHz
    • T-Mobile: 20 MHz

800 MHz band

  • LTE
    • A1 TA: channel 6250 (20 MHz)
    • T-Mobile: channel 6400 (20 MHz)
  • 900 MHz band
    • GSM
      • A1 TA
      • T-Mobile
      • Hutchison
    • UMTS
      • A1: channel 3087 (expiring)
    • LTE
      • Hutchison: channel 3632 (3 MHz)
      • TMA (5/10 MHz)
    • NB-IoT
      • T-Mobile 200kHz

1800 MHz band

  • GSM
    • A1 TA
    • T-Mobile
    • Hutchison
  • LTE
    • A1 TA: 20 MHz + 15 MHz (inband-CA)
    • T-Mobile: 20 MHz
    • Hutchison: 15 MHz
  • NB-IoT
    • Hutchison: 200 kHz

2100 MHz band

  • NR
    • A1 TA: 25 MHz
  • UMTS
    • Hutchison: 5 MHz (expiring)
  • LTE
    • Hutchison: 15 MHz or 20 MHz
  • LTE:
    • T-Mobile: 15 MHz

2600 MHz band

  • LTE
    • A1 TA: channel 2850 (20 MHz)
    • T-Mobile: channel 3050 (20 MHz)
    • Hutchison channel 3350 (20 MHz) + 5 MHz (inband-CA)

3,4 GHz band

  • NR
    • A1 TA 100 MHz + regional 20..80 MHz (inband-CA)
    • TMA 100 MHz + regional 40..60 MHz (inband-CA)
    • Hutchison 100 MHz
    • Regional operators 30..80 MHz (NR/LTE)

In the next years an incremental use of NR and a decremental use of GSM and LTE  is expected. UMTS is currently phased out.
